Hopeful Lion / The Regentessebrug connects the Posthoornstraat with the Glashaven over the Wijnhaven. This bridge was built in 1899 and named after Her Majesty Queen Emma of the Netherlands, The Queen Regent (1890-1898). The four lions on the bridge were sculpted by artist Simon Miedema.
